This affordable housing development in Norton Canes for a housing association comprises 25 traditional style houses and 12 flats. The traditional design responds to surrounding housing style, with carefully considered brickwork detailing, window fenestration, gable roof pitches. High quality interiors and gardens provide contemporary homes for occupants, and the gardens and social spaces promote inclusivity and community.
The development is close to Cannock Chase, an area of outstanding natural beauty. As a result the planning permission was difficult to attain due to being on green belt. With the planners and a planning consultant we overcame difficult objections to achieve planning permission. The project is currently on site.
